Gala 2020

The year of giving from the comfort of your own home.

An unprecedented year has called for unprecedented measures when planning our yearly SBA Foundation Gala.  As the threat of Covid-19 hit our country, we at the Foundation knew we had to do things differently to keep the health and safety of our guests our No. 1 priority. We are thrilled to announce our 2020 Gala of Giving – a special event to enable our loyal donors to support our Hometown Hospital and Hometown Heroes from the comfort of your homes. With SBA healthcare workers on the front lines helping our neighbors each day at our hospital, we know now – more than ever – community support of our Foundation is absolutely critical to the very health of our community. Despite not being able to gather, we invite you as a philanthropic family to support Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital with gifts through the Foundation.

The Susan B. Allen Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, exists to serve the present and future health and wellness needs of our community and beyond.

To enhance the quality of life in our community through the support of Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.

To be a leading philanthropic resource connecting quality of life and accessibility to healthcare in our communities.

To use philanthropy to preserve and expand programs and services in patient care, medical and public health education, and preventive medicine.

The truth is after patient bills are paid and reimbursements received, our not-for-profit hospital depends on philanthropy to fund infrastructure improvements, emerging technologies and the medical expertise needed to meet the demand for their services. And that demand is growing rapidly. Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital has become a destination for care throughout the region. We help to ensure that all of those patients get the care they deserve, the kind of care we want for our own families.
